Headquartered in Kaduna, the Hemophilia Foundation of Nigeria was founded in 2005 and has been working to raise awareness about Hemophilia and possible treatments. The foundation has met with doctors to further educate them on treating patients with the condition, and they have also been able to provide treatment to some of their members. They regularly host camps where they teach Hemophiliacs how to take their medication so they do not have to rely on a hospital when they have a bleed.
